Cream colored paper over boards with brown letters on the front cover and a vignette in brown… on the front cover of two roses, rust colored spine. Just a couple of minor dings around the extremities, covers clean and bright, shadow transfer from dust jacket to endpapers, all color drawings in fine condition, else near fine to fine with no internal markings. Dust jacket somewhat soiled and rubbed along the spine and the edges of the turn-ins. Per the dust jacket, this book contains descriptions and color images of 101 of the most popular garden flowers. Will. H. Stevens (1881 - 1949) was an American modernist painter and naturalist who is known for his paintings and tonal pastels, which are held in several major American art museums. Just a beautifully illustrated book to identify common flowers. "With the help of Will. Stephens' beautiful drawings you should have no difficulty in recognizing the flowers as shown in this book.
