Black and white photos. A significant number of streamer patterns are listed along with their dressing instructions. The late Jack Gartside, a world-renowned fly fisherman and innovative fly dresser, is shown on page 18 in Striper Flies posing as if he was dressing flies at Rick's Bar in the 1942 film, Casablanca. These two titles were bound together by Mr. Gartside. The books are bound in cream pictorial wrappers with green titles and a green plastic comb spine that is printed in white letters "Striper Flies - Gartside". Includes the two-page prospectus. Both books are very nice and in fine condition.
