A small quarto measuring 9 by 6 inches with a prior owner's book plate on the front pasted down. Containing 246 pages including an index and illustrated with photographs. Without a dust jacket possibly as issued. The cloth at the head and heel of the spine is just slightly rubbed. The binding remains tight and strong with no pages loose or missing. A very uncommonly found history of what is now Old Saybrook, Connecticut which, according to the publisher, contains "authentic data never before published" and information which corrects many misconceptions about the early history of Connecticut and its founding.
