Spiral Bound, Softcover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Cover is a light burgundy / mauve color with a white label affixed with black lettering and flourish. Plastic spiral is white. Poems are divided into the following sections, separated by a pink parchment paper with flourish illustration: Introduction, Praise, Grandkids, Our Children, Birthdays, Etc., School Days, Teachers, PTA, and Retirement. Occasional illustrations throughout, including a color photograph of poet Gene McLendon affixed to the introduction page. Unpaginated. Cover shows mild wear and fading, and offsetting of the spiral comb. Unmarked, the textblock is clean and bright. A very nice copy. Full refund if not satisfied. FROM THE INTRODUCTION: "The words from THIS MOTHER'S HEART are intended to let all who read them know the depth of love this grandmother has for her family, and the power of the Holy Spirit in everyday acknowledging Him, walking with Him and obeying Him. My prayers are constantly for peace and love in the days He designates for you until He calls you home. Austin took this picture of me at his 6th birthday party at their lake house June 1989. I was holding Travis. I love you and and enjoyed writing this tribute to my family. Mom".
