Decorated with gilt trim, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers. Finely bound by A.C. Vroman of Pasadena, California, with bindery imprint on verso of front free endpaper. Solid text block, touch of wear to corners, a near fine example. Complete with 60 full-page colored plates of paintings by J. Hardwicke Lewis and May Hardwicke Lewis. A beautiful volume.
