Work of Travel in Egypt, written by renowned German Medical Doctor and Zoologist Carl Benjamin Klunzinger (1834-1914) who lived for a period of 9 years in the Ancient Egyptian city of Al-Qusair (believed to be 5,000 years old) on the Red Sea, where he worked as a doctor. Delightfully illustrated with b/w full-page and in-text sketches and drawings. Minor age wear to binding, especially at edges and spine. Closed tear alongside spine at bottom.
