Georg Adam Voltz (1790-1846) stammte aus Nördlingen und hatte seit seiner Anstellung als Rechtsrat des Weiß…enburger Magistrats im Jahr 1818 "keine Gelegenheit vorbeigehen lassen, das zu sammeln, was auf das Geschichtliche der hiesigen Stadt Bezug hat" (Vorwort). Von 1836 bis zu seinem Tod stand er als rechtskundiger Bürgermeister seiner Stadt vor. - Bemerkenswert auch durch die schöne Bildausstattung mit Ansichten von: Römerbrunnen, Willibaldsbrunnen, Festung Wülzburg, Töchterschule, Oberes Tor, Frauentor, Getreideschranne, Rathaus, Andreaskirche, Landgericht und Ellinger Tor, dazu Altertümer und Pläne. - Leicht gebräunt und etwas stockfleckig (anfangs deutlicher), ein Textblatt (S. 23/24) mit leichten Randläsuren, am Ende mit kleinem Wurmgang im oberen Bund, die Tafeln stellenweise im Rand leicht knitterig und insgesamt nur wenig fleckig. Einband etwas berieben und bestoßen.
