Front cover has oval with illustration of woman pasted on. Pages are elaborately decorated. 140 pages. Tissue covered frontispiece.

The narrative is filled with wit and humor, particularly through the interactions between the aristocratic characters and their down-to-earth adversary. A clean very presentable copy.
