Il finit 3e au classement général de l'épreuve. Un an plus tard, il crée la premičre agence commerciale en Chine ŕ Pékin; il en ouvrira une seconde ŕ Shangaď en 1911. La course Pékin-Paris est considérée comme le premier grand raid automobile. Organisé par le journal français "Le Matin", le départ fut donné ŕ Pékin le 10 juin 1907. Cinq concurrents prirent le départ.
