Seller: Mike's Baseball Books, Chula Vista, CA, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Hack Wilson's lifetime WAR of 38.7 is one of the lowest in the Hall of Fame. He did have four consecutive years of more than 30 home runs and six years in a row of more than 100 RBIs. But he is truly remembered for his year in 1930 with 56 home runs (which remained the National League record until the Steroid Era) and 191 RBIs which remains one of the longest standing records in baseball. The non price clipped Dust Jacket is very good, has some rubbing on the rear cover. The book is in very good condition. I have around 175 baseball biographies and more than 200 items on the Hall of Fame and its members in stock. Discounts are available when you purchase multiple items on the same order.
