Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This thrilling historical novel explores the 15th-century struggle for power in 15th-century Ireland's County Antrim. When he inherits the county after the mysterious death of his uncle, Lord Edward Glentorn must unravel the conspiracy that murdered his predecessor and plunged the family into chaos and suspicion. The author captures the feudal era of rampant injustice, and the lengths to which a noble family will go to protect its bloodline, even as love and innocence are destroyed by deceit and treachery. Lord Edward, a complex character with a troubled conscience and a violent past, races against time to uncover the truth and become the leader his people need. A tragic tale of intrigue, betrayal, and sacrifice, this book immerses readers in a vivid historical setting while exploring timeless themes of justice, revenge, and redemption. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.

Bellissima antiporta disegnata e incisa in rame all'acquaforte dagli stessi fratelli Gerli, raffigurante l'invenzione dell' ermamfibio. In 8. 21x15 cm. Pp. 51+2 tav. Very scarce treaty of 1790 about construction and improving of hot air balloon written by brother Gerli. In 1784 Carlo Giuseppe e Agostino Gerli from Milan on behalf of Conte Carlo Andreani build the first italian aerostatic balloon based on that created in 1783 in France by the brothers Montgolfier but much improved, so much that it was similar to other hot air balloons. In the work they describes their work showing the results of their project.
