A Victorian era history in the form of a biography of a reformer in that time. 8vo, maroon buckram with gilt lettering, scant wear, red topstain. Unclipped dust jacket worn at corners and crown, small hole along front of backstrip, small tears along top of back panel, sticker remnant on front panel. Underscoring observed on two pages in the first chapter, pages overall bright.
