Fair; rebound in modern cloth with gilt titling on spine and some wear and rubbing to spine edges and corners; binding tight; text block has large areas of discoloration and age-toning; pages show severe age-toning and foxing; modern repairs done with cellphone tape in a few areas, most extensively to the title page; bookplate on verso of title page "McCullouch Drug Co., Pittsburgh" and institutional stamp to ffep; 19 plates present and intact, though heavily age-toned and foxed, plate 8 not present.
