Dutch Bekentenis is de vroege debuutbundel van Gijs van Rhode (pseudoniem van Gijs Garré), verschenen bij Snoeck-Ducaju in Gent in 1953. In sobere, lyrische verzen verwoordt de dichter zijn persoonlijke zoektocht naar geloof, liefde en zingeving. De titel verwijst naar de intimiteit en directheid van de poëzie: een innerlijke bekentenis in dichtvorm, typerend voor de vroege Vlaamse literatuur van de jaren vijftig. De bundel verscheen in kleine oplage en werd nauwelijks verspreid, wat bijdroeg aan de huidige zeldzaamheid.
