Book of reproductions of drawings and pastels exhibited at a retrospective showing in Florence, Italy, February 1978. Hancox was a set designer in New York, who drew and painted surrealist artworks after hours, for many years. Short introductory essays by Lara-Vinca Masini and the author's widow, Clara Hancox. Squarish (8-5/8" x 8-1/4") soft cover, text printed in red, reading crease, creases to corners, smudges along top of front cover, some light scratches, pale foxing to title page and rear free end papers. Laid in is a postcard from Clara Hancox to friends, one side being an announcement of the exhibition.
