      Original Cloth. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First Edition. First UK edition of the first Jacob Asch novel. Originally published in the US by Mason and Lipscomb in 1974. There are two small but heavy dents to the bottom edge of the rear panel but the boards are otherwise clean and unmarked. Dense spotting to tops of the page edges with more scattered spotting to the fore edges and bottom edges. Scattered light spotting to the endpapers and there is some spotting to several pages at the back of the book. Trace of a price in pencil to the top corner of the front pastedown. Pages otherwise unmarked. Price-clipped jacket has a one inch patch of surface damage on the front panel where a label has been removed, a small tear at the bottom left corner of the rear panel which has some browning and there is a crease at the bottom corner of the front flap.
