Hardcover. Condition: New. Dust Jacket Condition: New. First Edition. NOTE: this is not an electronic book. It is a DVD. Produced in 2017, this is a lengthy sit-down interview with Bob Gimlin of Yakima, Washington. Mr. Gimlin was with Roger Patterson on Oct. 20, 1967, when the two encountered and filmed, on 16mm film, a female B…igfoot/sasquatch at Bluff Creek, California. The 1967 footage is one of the most famous film exposures ever made and was for a long time very controversial. More recent and state-of-the-art analysis essentially authenticates the footage and the creature. Mr. Gimlin is deservedly a "rock star" after taking many years of criticism and abuse over the film (Patterson died in 1972). This is his story, but much more than that, it is an engaging account of the highlights of his long and honorable, often exciting life. This dvd is currently being sold by the producer for less than our asking price. Our copy is, however, one of the limited number first produced. The case has the first issue "dust jacket" & is signed by Mr. Gimlin. Fine; new. Signed by Author(s).

Condition: Very Good. First Edition. First appearance of photographs of Bigfoot, in the February 1968 issue of Argosy magazine. Signed by photographer Bob Gimlin on the front cover and dated 9/12/03. 128 pp., illustrated in color and black and white. Bound in publisher's wraps. Very Good with moderate wear and creasing to covers…, short split at tail of spine, and slight bumping to corners. Contents lightly toned with very occasional spots of foxing. In October 1968, Bob Gimlin and Roger Patterson rode horses into the Six Rivers National Forest armed with rifles and cameras. They had been hunting Bigfoot for years, and finally got their big break when a female of the species allegedly wandered into their path, a sighting Patterson caught on film. The prominent cryptozoologist Ivan T. Sanderson examined the evidence in this article for the men's magazine Argosy, illustrated with stills from the footage. The Gimlin-Patterson film, which runs for 59.5 seconds, is seen by many cryptozoologists as the best piece of evidence for the existence of Bigfoot. Others maintain it is an obvious hoax. Bob Gemlin refused to speak on the subject for over 30 years. He finally accepted an invitation to speak at a weekend conference that began September 12, 2003, the day this copy was signed.
