Fioriture e bruniture sparse. Cartonato coevo alla rustica, esemplare in barbe. Seconda edizione (la prima e' del 1751), emendata e accresciuta, di questa memoria medica del Lapi sulla stranguria, un disturbo della minzione caratterizzato da emissione difficoltosa e dolorosa di urina, dovuto a infiammazione delle vie urinarie. Essa è seguita, alle pp. 31 e sgg., da un'altra memoria medica del Lapi, di materia idroterapica, sulle acque tiberine. La prima opera fu inclusa da Haller nella raccolta "Disputationes ad morborum historiam". Il Lapi, medico romano, visse dal 1730 al 1791 circa, e lasciò alcune altre memorie a carattere medico.
