Brossura un po' brunita, qualche ossidazione in particolare alle pp. 98 e 99 ove era conservata una fotografia, peraltro buon esemplare. Agile volumetto pubblicato alla fine della guerra italo-turca dall'Ufficio Coloniale del Comando di Stato Maggiore, con notizie sulla città di Ghat e i suoi dintorni nel Fezzan. Il compilatore, capitano Bourbon Del Monte Santa Maria, raccoglie notizie sull'oasi, le risorse minerarie e naturali, le vie di comunicazione con Gadames, Murzuk, il Sahara e il Sudan, i commerci, ecc; presenti alcune note sui costumi della popolazione locale, sui tuareg, sulla dominazione ottomana. In appendice, glossario di termini arabi, berberi e tebu di carattere geografico militare (compilato da Giuseppe e Filippo El Ghazen), e un sintetico quadro di vocaboli botanici; sciolte e ripiegate in calce al volume due tavole ripiegate a colori con uno schizzo geografico 1:20000 di Ghat e adiacenze e una carta geografica delle vie di comunicazione. Brossura un po' brunita, qualche ossidazione in particolare alle pp. 98 e 99 ove era conservata una fotografia, peraltro buon esemplare.
