Thin 8vo (8 3/4" x 5 3/4"),brick red cloth, archival Mylar-protected pictorial dust jacket (unclipped) with images by Marjorie Whittington; illustrated by Marjorie Whittington with 16 full-page color glossy plates, 11 full-pages in monochrome, and 30 half pages in monochrome; 175, [176] pages. UNCOMMON attractively illustrated wartime produced volume. Tight & bright with previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper. No foxing to full-page colored illustrations. Dust jacket is not-price clipped & remarkably complete, though there are scratches to the front panel. Marjorie Whittington (1888 - 1970) was a British painter and illustrator.
