Illustrated throughout with monochrome vignettes and a large folding map of Russia to the rear.Written in Cyrillic.This work was compiled by A. Stupel and E. Glov and provides a study of Russian geography. The work has information regarding mathematical, physical and general geography, discussing topics such as the mountains, the various regions and their people and the streams, rivers and sea's.The work was approved by the Special Department of the Academic Committee of the Ministry of Public Education. Bound in quarter cloth with marbled paper to the boards and a dust wrapper. Externally sound with rubbing and loss to the extremities of the boards, bumping to the extremities, marks to the boards and spine, fading to the spine, loss to the spine label and small closed tears to the cloth to the tail of the joints. Hinges failed. Age toning and spotting to the endpapers and lacking free endpapers. The wrap is excellent with creasing. Internally binding generally firmly bound with occasional evidence of strain and cords showing in places. Pages age toned with spotting to the front and rear. Good Only. book.
