Utrecht (Ultrajecti), Apud Guilielmum à Poolsum, 1698, 8vo., full parchment spitsel binding, [68]+544+[56] pp., smudged and worn parchment, on the inside of the cover both hinges are broken causing the front endpapers, the last signature and the cover to come loose exposing the spine. The bookblock has clear printwork with references to Greek and Hebrew words or phrases and hardly any stains. With a woodcut vignette on the titlepage and some lovely decorative initials and head- and tailpieces. With handwritten ex libris notes in ink: "Ex libris" followed by two sets of initials, one written over the other and therefore only partly legible (Z.H.M and H.A?), then "anno(?)" and the year "1749".
