An enthusiastic, unedited, daily 'guide' combining channeled and biblical material. Following Thoth/Hermes, god of the 'Word', as her 'medium', in a two page forward the author explains "The Routine" out of which this tome emerged. She describes the feeling and flow of channeling the 'Scripts' of her 'Play of Words' and the construction of the meditation, combining bible verses and daily communications from the one she calls Trismegetus. Seeking to explain these 'strange scripts', she turned to the bible in a similar fashion: "So, beginning in 1934 and ending in 1938 a complete paraphrase of the Old Testament and the Apocrypha was made" into a chapter book for daily meditation and consultation. Dedication: 1 Samuel 22 "this Play upon Words is dedicated to All Men and Women who find themselves in the Cave of Adullum with Everyone that is in Distress and with Everyone that is Discontented and Bitter of Soul. To you there is a Way Out and this Book is the Key.
