Built in 1913 - retired in 1947. Oddly, this ship is incorrectly identified at the 'Kuskanook', a slightly small sister ship, by the publishers on the front, image side of the card. Photograph. Image of international fraudster, an Italian-American born Edgardo Laplante, who travelled the world as a Chief White Elk, seducing women and living off the generousity of others. He was, however, remarkably effective at selling war bonds during the First World War.
