Book Condition: Very Good; light wear to head and lower tips; missing piece at tail. No DJ. Pictorial boards and spine with black and red lettering on the front and rear boards. Clean like new internals; sound internal hinges.Color frontispiece picture. Non-paginated 16mo. This book is about a Dutch-American villager in colonial America named Rip Van Winkle who meets mysterious Dutchmen, imbibes their liquor and falls asleep in the Catskill Mountains. He awakes 20 years later to a very changed world, having missed the American Revolution.
