Pionnier de cette nouvelle discipline, il développa de nombreux travaux sur les séries spectrales. Exemplaire non coupé et enrichi en couverture d'un envoi autographe paraphé de l'auteur au Nobel Henri Becquerel. Petit manque angulaire sur le second plat, sinon bon exemplaire.
