Both volumes houses together in board slipcase covered in red velveteen cloth (top/bottom ends) and color-illus. paper. Slipcase spine lettering in both Japanese and French. Oversized and heavy (9 pounds) and will require extra postage. Text mostly in Japanese and French, though plate captions are provided in French, English, and Japanese. Beautiful full-page reproductions of pochoir illustrations of plants and flowers in their natural state, as well as in decorative designs for wall coverings, fabrics, etc. Oversized. Both Grasset and Sequy were leaders in the Art Nouveau movement, and both were influenced by Japanese design. VG+ (Beautiful condition, seldom read; only flaw is is damage to the tissue paper dustcovers along the exposed spines. A superb set.
