Condition VG. Volume Two, "Les Fleurs et Leurs Application Decorative", 93pp with 60 full-page colour plates. Many art deco/nouveau style images, suitable for commercial use. Minimal text in French and Japanese. Two or three very minor marks to front board, otherwise VG.

Beautiful full-page reproductions of pochoir illustrations of plants and flowers in their natural state, as well as in decorative designs for wall coverings, fabrics, etc. Oversized. Both Grasset and Sequy were leaders in the Art Nouveau movement, and both were influenced by Japanese design. VG+ (Beautiful condition, seldom read; only flaw is is damage to the tissue paper dustcovers along the exposed spines. A superb set.
