Rebound copy of 1827 printing, title page states '3rd series'. used 3 volume hardcover set, cloth spines over stiff cardboard covers. front inner hinge of vol.3 mildly split yet intact otherwise bindings remains solid, no marks to text, boards moderately worn along edges and discolored in places, all corners bumped in and worn to the core, color stained page edges mildly scuffed. prior owner penciled in the author's name T C Grattan to title page in vols. 1 and 3. endpapers very foxed. foxing throughout, ghosting affects legibility but is readable.
