Would be 'Near Fine' except for serious browning on and around spine and top back outer corner a bit bent (see pictures). Contents pristine: no marks of any kind, not even a penciled price or previous… owner's signature. Text in Latin - not just the classical Latin poem but the Dutch scholar's annotations on it.

Wernsdorfius (Poetae Latini Minores I, p. 4) poetam adeo ignotum fuisse putat ut a nullo praeter Ovidium memoretur; quam tamen opinionem reiciendam esse infra videbimus, cum apparebit Manilium quattuor versibus summam Grattii carminis breviter complexum esse; quod Astro-nomicon poeta non fecisset, nisi eos, quorum causa carmen suum scriberet, intellecturos esse putasset quemnam poetam significant.
