Folded and a little offsetting, else very good or better. Graves was appointed to the Senate by her husband, Governor Bibb Graves of Alabama, to fill the term of Hugo Black after he was appointed to the Supreme Court; she served 20 August 1937 - 10 January 1938. Here she opposes the bill as an infringement of states rights, rationalizing the problem as steadily disappearing.
