A very clean copy of this rare book. * These papers published after his untimely death at 45 in 1907 by his widow. He was an economist and sociologist lectured at the London School of Economics on his research he was also a Unitarian Minister working in the East End Bell St Mission. He produced only 1 other book in 1905 and this was the only ever edition of this work. Includes chapters on "The Social Value of Hooligans, Claude Monet, A Children's Home in Leipzig, Co-Operative Housing in Berlin, The Ethical Problem, The Mind of a Londoner, A Bucolic ideal, Culture and Dirt, etc.
