Hardcover. Condition: Fair. First Edition. Charming children's book of verses, illustrated with six "revolving scenes". Each full-page revolving scene contains a colour illustration, which, when pulled around in a circle by the attached ribbon, reveals a second colour illustration, which is described in verse. The opposing page contains additional verse with small b&w illustrations. Four contributors: Gray Severne, L.L. Weedon, Hope Myrtoun, & Clifton Bingham. No date (1896). Printed in Bavaria. Bound in publisher's original colour pictorial boards (rear board plain white), brown cloth unlettered spine, pale-blue printed endpapers. NOTE: A FAIR copy only, with much handling wear. ALL PAGES DETACHED (but all present), quite a bit of damage to the fragile revolving scenes (many small closed tears, some slightly off-track, all revolving scenes mostly work, although two with ribbons missing & therefore not easy to turn), much edgewear to brittle pages, covers slightly soiled, mild marginal toning, otherwise a clean complete hardcover copy of a scarce item. Price reflects various faults. Unpaginated (16pp + endpapers). Very RARE.
