Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. Gray, William Murrey (Aubrey) (illustrator). First Edition. Original graphite pencil illustration by science fiction / fantasy / horror pulp illustrator William Murrey Gray. Circa 1950. Gray created illustrations for a variety of pulp issues in the forties and fifties. Though no record is available on this piece, it is clearly from the horror genre; it shows a well-fed, matronly woman affectionately managing parts of department store mannequins - but the heads, and torsos with heads, bear looks of profound dismay.8.5" x 12" overall, heavy stock, graphite pencil drawing. Unframed. One corner a bit bent, one smudge in the opposite corner (see scan), else Near Fine. L308.
