Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. George Adamson (illustrator). 1st Edition. "With colour frontispiece and line drawings by George Adamson" on its title page. "First published in this edition 1974" and ISBN on its copyright page, with publication month "1/74" on its jacket's back flap. Co-published by J.M. Dent & Sons in UK and E.P. Dutton & Co. in the USA. This 51 year old book is still in very good condition, marred only by spine lean, light wear on its spine ends, and and a few light stains on the bottom of its page block which extend slightly into the page bottom margins. Its binding is sound, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn, with bright gilt titles on its front and spine. Pages are unworn and otherwise unmarked. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is unmarked and also in very good condition for its age, marred only by a corner-clipped front flap, wear on the ends of its spine and flap folds with chips in the top of its spine and front flap fold, plus a slightly faded spine and a line of toning along its top edge, but otherwise bright and unworn. I will ship this book in moisture resistant wrapping, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.

Please see the condition note after this for details, if this is missing please consider Acceptable to mean poor quality that could include major staining, water damage, writing, missing dustjacket, etc etc. Our books are dispatched from a Yorkshire former cotton mill. We list via barcode/ISBN so please note that the images are stock images and may not be the exact copy you receive, furthermore the details about edition and year might not be accurate as many publishers reuse the same ISBN for multiple editions and as we simply scan a barcode or enter an ISBN we do not check the validity of the edition data when listing. If you're looking for an exact edition please don't order (at least not without checking with us first, although we don't always have time to check). We aim to dispatch prompty, the service used will depend on order value and book size. We can ship to most countries, see our shipping policies. Payment is via Abe only.
