Hardcover. Condition: Good. Greene, William Chace. A DEEPER ROOT. Boston, Massachusetts: Little, Brown and Company 1937. FIRST EDITION. 316pp, 8vo (6 3/4" wide x8 3/8" tall). Gilt imprints, blue cloth (hardcover). Endpapers illustrated. The top edge has been tinted pale green by the publisher. Deaccessionedwith a call number, a…bookplate (stamped) on the front fixed endpaper, a cut dust jacket front flap has been affixed on a front slip and the date cardand envelope have been roughly removed. The cloth binding is worn & chipped with with the spine starting. All page ends are fox (brown spots)speckled. That said, the book's interior pages are unmarked, the book is tightly bound and generally good.
