Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Fair. Reprint (first published 1812). Deluxe edition bound in black Morrocco with elaborate gilt embossed design covering both front and rear boards; decoration continues on the spine with five bands of gilt embellishment and titling, together with gilt finish to the page block. Internally sound and complete. The book shows signs of wear: the front hinge is weak and has been reinforced with tape and the top section of the leather spine (one inch) containing the title is missing. The corners and top edge of the covers are worn. A worthwhile rehabilitation project at a reasonable price. Please note if buying from abroad, any additional customs charge will be the responsibility of the buyer. All proceeds of sale go to LOROS, a Hospice Charity serving Leicestershire and Rutland.
