Pamphlet. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Sheet music commemorating the battle against Santa Anna's troops in the Mexican-American War. Disbound with rough binding edge. Foxing throughout, with a two-inch piece missing on the front spine side and two-inch tear on last leaf. Some old ink writing in upper corner. Ornate militarily themed cover illustration. The narrative written above the score mentions many of the American officers in the battle. "Composed and most respectfully inscribed to Genl. Z. Taylor The Hero who never lost a battle." ; 13 1/2" x 10"; 14 pp.
