Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Limited edition. Limited edition of 1,000 with this being 607, 1931. SIGNED by Groome. A Very Good copy. 8vo., 114 pp., with illustrations, bound in publishers blue cloth spine and tan paper covered boards, title in gilt on front cover along with Mecklenburg county seal. Boards are tanned with rubbing & loss to tips and edges. Previous owners name on half title page, otherwise appears unmarked. The Mecklenburg Resolves were a set of resolutions adopted by the citizens of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, on May 31, 1775, after the battles of Lexington and Concord. These resolutions, which were delivered to the Second Continental Congress by James Jack, declared the Mecklenburg militia independent from British rule and established a local government.
