Volume 1 explains Gaston Grummer's heritage in the coachbuilding world. At the end of World War 1 he re-launched the family business as Societe Anonyme des Establissements Grummer and in 1924 he created his own company to build custom cars under the name Carrosserie Grummer.Volume Two continues the story and describes some of his finest achievements - the Hiriondelle and the Aeroprofil. it is followed by an exhaustive index detailing inter alia the company's archive of chassis listings and the drawing register.
