This book contains two stories by Robert May, the original Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer and the follow up Rudolph Shines Again. This is the 25th anniversary edition of the two stories.The book is in very good condition with clean interior pages and a blue pictorial cover showing Rudolph and santa with the other reindeer. With very minor corner wear the only flaw is a ghost of marks on the rear cover which have been erased and left a lightening of the blue color. The dust jacket is very good with the same illustration on the cover as the book. Minor edge wear is the only flaw. Picture available upon request.

Like that first edition, this one features key words for beginning readers, which are underlined throughout the text in red. Unpaginated. This First Pop-up Version from 1950 (First, thus) has a plastic red comb binding along the top edge. Oblong small quarto (8.25" x 10.25") has brightly colored wrappers, decorated with the art of Marion Guild, who also created each pop-up inside--there are 5 total & every one is in perfect working order! Some have tiny creases, but fully functional. Overall condition is VG, with slight rubbing to extremities, small area of paper loss to upper-outer side of back cover near comb. The clear acetate on the back cover is peeling in places, but largely intact. Pages creamy white with modest, age-appropriate tanning, but completely unmarked.
