Marjorie Lipski (illustrator). This is a beautiful poetry book by Gurre Ploner, with illustrations by Marjorie Lipski and photographs by Robert L. Farrier. This is a cloth covered hardcover, the cover is clean and in excellent condition with minimal wear. There is an inscription inside from the previous owner and minor tape residue on the inside cover from a cellophane protective cover. Photo is of the actual copy.

Although not pristine by any stretch, still a fairly decent copy of an exceptionally hard-to-find book. Charmingly illustrated by Drusilla King.

Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. Mel Schubert was an animator at Walt Disney. This is an unusual children's book focusing on Hawaiian beliefs and legends.
