Printed in Sweden with lithographic illustrations by a Swedish artist, who was one of the leading illustrators in Sweden at the time of printing. "The story is about th…e fishermen in Brittany, and over the homes and the lives of these simple and charming Icelandic people there hovers the same milky air which surrounds the homes and the lives of the artist adn printer who have now made this edition of this story" (Monthly Letter of the LEC, June 1931). Bound in off-white cloth over patterned paper covered boards featuring a fish pattern. Gilt title within a blue box to spine. Minor browning to spine and minor wear to boards. Includes many lithographic illustrations by Yngve Berg. Clean and bright overall. Includes montly letter from the Limited Editions Club laid in. 207 pages. Size: small quarto. LIT/012925.
