Add to basketSoft cover. Condition: Very Good. In French. Very likely a First Edition, given the book's rarity. And this book is signed and inscribed. The inscription is on the first front end paper. It is in French. I have provided a photograph. The inscription is to a Helene et Robert Lilenthal. A little address label of Mr. Liillenthal is… affixed to the front inside cover. You can see the covers in the photos. They are mostly quite clean. The front top and bottom corners have a little curling. There is a crease on the rear cover, also on the inside rear cover. However it does not go any further, does not impact any of the pages in the book. The middle page edge has four or five small tan spots. The impact on the pages is quite minimal. I saw just a few pages with a tiny tan spot peeking over their outer edge. The spine has a slight rearward lean, but the book is very solidly bound from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and tight covers as well. The pages are, in the main, exceptionally clean. I did see two facing pages that each had several spots, though none on either illustration. The condition of the pages is very good. There is a very light and small crease at the bottom corner of some early pages, not much of anything. I didn't see any other creasing on any of the other pages. There are no markings. The only attachment is the aforementioned address label. Beside the painter's signed inscription I found only two instances of writing, the previous owner penciled the English word for the French title of two of the paintings. One could easily erase them. The pages are unnumbered. I didn't do a perfect count but I believe there are around 115 pages. The date of publication does not appear to be given. A guess would be 1991 when the book was signed. However, the latest dated painting is in 1987, so perhaps earlier. The paintings are quite impressive. It's not a surprise that the artist has received a number of awards. Some are listed below. Participation à la Biennale des Beaux-Arts, exposition France-Japon au Grand-Palais a Paris. En français. Très probablement une première édition, étant donné la rareté du livre. Je n'ai trouvé aucun autre exemplaire à vendre sur Internet. Et, pour démarrer, ce livre est signé et inscrit. L'inscription est sur le premier papier de couverture. C'est en français. J'ai fourni une photo. L'inscription est à Hélène et Robert Lilenthal. Une petite étiquette d'adresse de M. Liillenthal est apposée sur la couverture intérieure avant. Vous pouvez voir les couvertures sur les photos. Ils sont pour la plupart assez propres. Les coins supérieurs et inférieurs avant ont un peu de curling. Il y a un pli sur la couverture arrière, également sur la couverture arrière intérieure. Cependant, cela ne va pas plus loin, n'impacte aucune des pages du livre. Le bord du milieu de la page a quatre ou cinq petites taches de bronzage. L'impact sur les pages est assez minime. Je n'ai vu que quelques pages avec une petite tache de bronzage furtivement sur leur bord extérieur. Le dos est légèrement incliné vers l'arrière, mais le livre est très solidement relié d'une couverture à l'autre avec des pages bien serrées et des couvertures serrées également. Les pages sont, dans l'ensemble, exceptionnellement propres. J'ai vu deux pages opposées qui avaient chacune plusieurs taches, mais aucune sur l'une ou l'autre illustration. L'état des pages est très bon. Il y a un très léger et petit pli dans le coin inférieur de certaines premières pages, pas grand-chose. Je n'ai vu aucun autre pli sur aucune des autres pages.
