From Wikipedia: "Guy Oseary (born 1972) is an Israeli-American businessman who began his career in entertainment at 17 at what was to become Maverick Records. He is Madonna's manager and in November 2013 was appointed as the manager of Irish rock band U2 following the departure of their long-time manager Paul McGuinness. He quickly rose through the ranks to chairman of the label, developing a roster of artists that included Prodigy, Alanis Morissette, Deftones, The Wreckers, Paul Oakenfold, Michelle Branch, Summercamp and soundtracks including The Wedding Singer, The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, Austin Powers I & II, as well as releasing soundtracks on Quentin Tarantino s films including Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2. Oseary guided Maverick to sell over 100 million albums worldwide and secured its spot as one of the industry's leading boutique record labels.
