The cheaper issue. (Published by Marcus Ward and co. in 1883).- Selected Poems, a personal and reflective anthology with often a focus on abstract themes such as religion and gratitude, written by Adelaide Anne Proctor. (Published by George G. Harrap in 1900).- The Light of Asia, the famous narrative poem which focuses on the life of Prince Siddharta Guatama, and his enlightenment, introducing many western audiences to Buddhism. The sixty-fifth edition. (Published by Kegan, Paul, Trench, Trubner and co. in 1925. First published in 1879).- Poems of D.H. Lawrence, an anthology celebrating the poetry of the famous English writer best known for his iconic novel Lady Chatterly's Lover. (Published by Martin Secker in 1932, two years afters his death). In the publsiher's original cloth (Bourdillon, Arnold and Lawrence) and paper boards (Proctor). Externally, smart, with the odd faint mark to rear board of Lawrence, and a couple of small marks to front board of Arnold. Slight bumping to the heads and tails of the spines, and to the extremities. Slight fading to front board and spine of Bourdillon, with slight wear to glit title. Marginal rubbing to joints of Arnold. Offsetting to free end papers of Bourdillon, Arnold, and to rear end paper hinge of Proctor. The odd spot to end papers of Bourdillon and to the extremities of Arnold paste downs. Gift inscriptions to front free end papers of Bourdillon and Arnold. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean in Lawrence, Proctor and Bourdillon, with the small odd spot to first and last leaves. Spotting a little more heavier and frequent to Arnold. Previous owner has rendered in-text illustrations to Bourdillon. Very Good. Emma G. Richards (illustrator). book.
