One of the subtitles lists these occupations/talents of the author; "Early Day El Pasoan, Amateur Artist, Champion Golfer, Avid Wildcatter and Gold Seeker". Memoir and autobiography of an early El Pasoan, living in the southwest from the early turn of the 20th century to the 1970's. Orange illustrated dust jacket with green lettering on cover and white lettering on spine. Jacket is not price clipped. Moderate chipping and creasing to edges; half-inch tear and some wear to top edge of front panel; mild soiling. Tight binding and clean interior. Includes a portrait of Hadlock as a frontispiece as well as a section with 22 black-and-white photos. Adah Hadlock came to El Paso, Texas in 1902 at the age of 20.
