Red cloth boards show bumped (not rubbed) tips, slightly sunned and a tad soiled back strip with gilt spine title. 1 inch split in cloth at head of frt gutter. Frt board slightly sprung (bowed), spine ends are rubbed with… a bit of the board showing at both ends. Pencil name on foxed fep, foxing on first four and last six or so pages. Text fairly clean with a spot or two noted in some margins. Professionally reproduced photo illustrated, unclipped dj in new mylar has two chips, one taking most of the M from the title but still displays well with wrap around b/w photograph of a hunt scene as the meet moves off from a country village with gorgeous stone house and tall stone walls. A lovely jaunt down memory lane for any fox hunting fan. Reprinted are 48 articles by the Hunting Correspondent of The Times. Includes are 16 photogravure plates. It is a second in a series to two books published by The Times. The first one was entitled plainly: Foxhunting From The Times.
