Written by Lyman Frank Baum, an American author best known for his children's fantasy books, particularly The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. With music from Alberta Grace Neiswanger Hall, also known as Alberta N. Hall, an American composer of children's songs and books. Illustrated by William Wallace Denslow, an American illustrator and caricaturist remembered for his work in collaboration with Baum, especially his illustrations of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. In the original paper covered boards. Externally, sound with light chipping and minor bumping to the extremities. Sunning to the spine and board edged with the odd small mark. Minor loss to the head of the spine and board tips. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting, predominantly to the first and last few pages. Light age toning to the endpapers. Very Good. book.

For voice and piano. The back cover illustration shows the goose in a clown costume alongside the lyrics to the second verse. L. Frank Baum is celebrated for creating the *Oz* books which inspired the classic film *The Wizard of Oz*, here he presents us with a charming song about a goose who wants to be a clown. *OCLC* locates only three holdings and it appears to be equally scarce in the trade.
