This is the Fourth Edition of 1931 of this quite well-known collection of Vine Hall's poetry. And marked as Illustrated Edition on front cover and spine. Addendum by way of a publisher's announcement, in the form of a label, of this Edition stuck on Copyright page. In Fair condition - spine a little darkened; bumping at top of spine with a couple of small nicks; bottom of spine also bumped; spotting marks at many pages, and a general inclination to light foxing; a few odd marks internally; the label (see above) stuck on the Copyright page has top corner slightly lifting; generally robust.

Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: None. E.J.Detmold (illustrator). First Edition. 92 pages. Blue cloth, black titles. Poetry for children with six full-page colour illustrations. Inscription (not by author) on front endpaper. Some wear to cloth on spine.

Scuffing to spine at extremities and small tear at base of spine where meets front board. Rear board severely rubbed at base. Small tear where rear board meets spine at top. Boards slightly cocked. Three rubber stamps and previous owner's name to prelims. All colour illustrations present. All but one of these have 'Hotel Copy' neatly inscribed on their margins and some have the hotel's rubber stamp on the reverse. Pages yellowing and foxing to prelims and back endpapers. 311pp.

Card Covers. Condition: Very Good. 3rd Edition. 155 pages. There is an ownership signature on the front end paper, else a clean, unmarked and solid copy.
