Vintage bottom panel (i.e., incomplete) of the three-sheet poster for the 1952 re-release of the 1941 film serial. Poster incomplete, lacking the top panel. Originally released in 1941 as "Dick Tracy vs. Crime, Inc.," this last of the four Republic "Dick Tracy" serials was re-released in 1952 under the title "Dick Tracy vs. [the] Phantom Empire." Considered by film historian, William R. Cline as one of the most outstanding of all serials, and by film critics Jim Harmon and Donald Glut as the best of the Dick Tracy serials. Dick Tracy and his allies must face the villain known as The Ghost, who has the ability to become invisible. 41 x 52.5 inches. Folded as issued. Very Good, with starting at the center folds and two vertical closed tears at the bottom folds.
